Obituary
Richard Thomas Thornton, age 68 of Danville, VA, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Duke Regional Hospital.
Mr. Thornton was born on September 9, 1954 in Danville VA, a son of the late James C. Thornton III and Dorothy Moore Thornton. He lived his life in Danville where he was employed with Intertape as a machine operator. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Thornton is survived by his siblings, James C. Thornton IV, Debra T. Pierce (Danny), Ronnie K. Thornton (Vickie) and Lisa Ann Smith (Darren); he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
All services will be private.
