Roy Scott Obituary
Mr. Roy Hueston Scott, Jr., age 68, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at SOVAH- Danville.
Mr. Scott was born on May 2, 1953, in Danville, VA, to the late Roy Hueston Scott, Sr. and Hallie Hamilton Scott. He lived his life in Danville where he was employed with Coca- Cola until his retirement and was a member of the Monacan Indian Nation.
Mr. Scott is survived by his loving wife, Roseanna Scott; children, Kathy Scott and Roy H. Scott III; granddaughter, Beverly Marie Weaver; four great-granddaughters; siblings, Edward Lee Scott and Gloria Jean Scott; and mother-in-law, Janet Dalton.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Scott was predeceased by his siblings, Dallas Wayne Scott, Sr., James William Scott and Claude Preston Scott and granddaughter, Crystal Scott.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, October 8, 2021, at 2PM at Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Dr. Charles Scearce officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5 PM-6:30 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home.
