Sandra Faye Chumley

Mrs. Sandra Faye Chumley, age 71, of Pelham, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at UNC Rockingham.

Mrs. Chumley was born on July 23, 1950, in Danville, Virginia, to the late Raleigh Lee Reynolds and Clarice Grant Adams. She worked at Royal Textiles for many years as a sewing machine operator and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Chumley is survived by her children, Carl Chumley (Cindy) and David Chumley (Valanda); grandchildren, Jordan Chumley, Katie Chumley, Lucas Chumley, Demontre Dixon; sisters, Sylvia Phelps, Lucy Scarce, Rosie Davis, Joann Cash; sister-in-law, Mable Chumley. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chumley was predeceased by her brothers, Raleigh Reynolds, Jr. and Phillip Adams.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 2 PM at Highland Burial Park with Reverend Duane Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside and at other times at the residence of David Chumley. (824 Law Road, Pelham, North Carolina, 27311)
