Shirley "MeMe" (Gauldin) Nunn

Mrs. Shirley “MeMe” Gauldin Nunn, age 72, of Ringgold, VA, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on March 12, 1949, in Danville, VA, to the late Loyd Gauldin and Mary Revis Gauldin.

Before her retirement, Mrs. Nunn worked at Dan River, Inc. and was of the Baptist faith. After her retirement, she was a babysitter. Also, Mrs. Nunn loved to fish, read, and relaxing at home channel surfing on the television.

She is survived by her sisters, Mary Gauldin (David C. Seay), of the residence; Peggy Davis; Katie Nunn; and Joan Wyatt (Hugh), all of Ringgold, VA; brother, Loyd Irvin Gauldin (Betty), of Keeling, VA; special niece, Pattie Clayton; special nephew, Steven Gauldin; her beloved canine companion, Manda; numerous nieces and nephews; and as well as numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nunn was predeceased by her husband, Roy "Pee Wee" Nunn and her brothers, Jeff, Calvin, and Bob Gauldin.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 31, at 6 PM in Swicegood Chapel.
