Stephen Barksdale Obituary

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Stephen Chad Barksdale on December 31, 2020.

Chad was born on January 24, 1974 in Danville, VA to Ronald and Sandra Barksdale who survives.

He worked at Abbott Laboratories in Altavista, VA.

Chad loved all sports and was an avid collector.

He is survived by his daughter, Elana Coxworth (Cody); a brother, Michael Barksdale; a sister, Christy Vernon; and one granddaughter, Clementine Coxworth.

Due to the Corona virus, there will be a private graveside service for immediate family with Jonathan Taylor officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
