Sue Jeanette (Aherron) Kendrick

Mrs. Sue Jeanette Aherron Kendrick, age 83, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at SOVAH Health in Danville.

Mrs. Kendrick was born on September 17,1937, in Danville, to the late Isiah Aherron and Mamie Conner Aherron.

She lived her life in Danville where she worked at Dan River Mills for many years before retirement and was a faithful member of Whitmell United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Kendrick is survived by her brother, Herman Aherron; sister, Alice Teague; stepchildren, Dwight Kendrick, and Brenda Gregory; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kendrick was predeceased by her loving husband, Sam Kendrick; and eight brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, August 13th at 11AM at Highland Burial Park with Dr. Charles Scearce officiating. The family will receive friends at graveside after the service.
