Tammy Conness

Tammy Jo Moore Conness, 59, of Danville, Va passed peacefully into the kingdom of heaven on Monday January 16, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Danville and loved fishing, lighthouses, and our Lord and savior. She is the daughter of the late Frank Moore of Danville, VA, and Jean Moore of Danville, VA, and sister of Susan Ridge of Callands, VA. She is also survived by her husband Joseph Conness of Danville. Her greatest joys in life were her two daughters: Pamela Barnaby of Bremerton, WA and Adrian Philips of Danville, VA. She had four beautiful grandchildren: Noah Barnaby, 17; Holly Barnaby 15; Aiden Sigmon 10; and Jonah Sigmon, 9. She was so proud of her son in law USN Chief Petty Officer David Barnaby of Bremerton, WA. Wake services will be conducted by Swicegood Funeral Home Friday January 20th 4pm-6pm. Adrian Phillips will be hosting family and friends at her residence on Saturday January 21st at 2946 West Main St. Apt. 4 in Danville, VA from 12pm-4pm. A celebration of life service will be held later this summer July 15th at State Line Baptist Church in Danville, VA from 2pm-5pm.
