Tommy W Meadows

Mr. Tommy Meadows, age 74, of 1732 Gammon Rd. Providence, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at SOVAH Health-Danville.

Mr. Meadows was born on October 4, 1946, in Danville, to the late Edward Warren Meadows and Pattie A. Meadows Haskins. He worked as a mechanic for many years until retirement and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Meadows is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Meadows; children, Gidgett Shelton, Edward Meadows and wife, Angela Meadows; grandchildren, Edward Meadows II, Jerry Shelton (Amy), Jereme Shelton, Jessica Beasley; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and siblings, Andy Haskins, and Janice and Ervin Gill.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, August 6, 2021, at 2PM at Danville Memorial Gardens with Dr. Charles Scearce officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30PM- 1:30 PM in Swicegood Funeral Home prior to the service. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence.
