Tonya (Adams) Walker

Tonya Adams Walker, age 50, of Ruffin, NC, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Sovah Health – Danville.

Mrs. Walker was born on May 27, 1972, in Danville, VA, a daughter of Eugene Adams and Sylvia Pruitt Adams who survive. She lived most of her life in Ruffin and was employed with Ob-Gyn Associates of Danville. Mrs. Walker was married to Dwayne Walker who survives and was a member of Lively Stones Baptist Church.  

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her children, Amber Dawn Adams and Wyatt Lee Walker; brothers, Terry Adams (Jan), Rodney Adams (Amy) and Brent Adams (Ashley); brother-in-law, Brian Walker; nieces, Braelynn Adams, Madison Adams, Meredith Adams, Jaydyn Walker and Kyndall Walker.

Mrs. Walker is predeceased by her sister, Sonya Adams and nephew, Brenton Austin Walker.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Lively Stones Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Kent officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Schoolfield Cemetery.
