Valerie Willard Obituary
Mrs. Valerie Reed Willard, age 59, of Danville, VA, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Piney Forest Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on May 21, 1961, in Manassas, VA, to the late William Coyle Reed and Mary Keller Reed.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Willard worked at Wal Mart and was of the Penacostal Holiness faith.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, James Cecil Willard, Jr., of the residence; siblings, Gladys Reed, Mary Rhodes, Tommy Reed, Kenny Reed, and Bill Reed; aunt, Ruth Walsh; niece, Robin Wyatt (Buster); nephew, Charlie Lee Wyatt, Jr. (Tabitha); great nieces, Har’leah, Paytyn, Kynleigh, and Charleigh; great nephews, Haven, Ronnie, Wesley, and Hunter; and sister-in-law, Rebecca Lovell (Sean).
A celebration of Mrs. Willard’s life will be conducted on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Swicegood Funeral Home with Rev. David Terrell, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of her sister-in-law, Rebecca Lovell, 62 Hylton Ave., Danville, VA 24541.
