Obituary
Mr. Wayne Smith Beck, age 71, of Danville, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on January 12, 1952, in Danville, VA, to the late Henry Beck and Laura Lee Wilson Beck.
Mr. Beck is survived by his brothers, John Henry Beck, Jerry Lee Beck, Roger Taft Beck, Charles Beck; sisters, Brenda B. Stanley, Rosa Lee Allen, Nellie Jean Matherly; special friends, Shorty, Johnny and Chris and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Blevins officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the funeral home and at other times the family will be at his sister, Brenda's residence, 212 Sugartree Church Road. Interment will follow in the Beck Family Cemetery located on Tarpley Place/Vance Hill Road off of Sugartree Church Road.
