William "Willie G" Roger Gauldin, Jr.

Mr. William “Willie G” Roger Gauldin, Jr., age 55, of Danville, VA, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at SOVAH Health—Danville. He had been in declining health for the past two years.

He was born on November 07, 1965 in Eden, NC, to Gail Wilkins Clark and the late Roger Dale Gauldin.

Mr. Gauldin worked as an equipment operator for Sellers Brothers Construction and was of the of the Baptist faith. He loved to plant flowers, mow lawns, and work from sun up to sun down. Also, Mr. Gauldin loved his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Angela Gauldin; daughter, Lisa Gauldin; grandchildren, Michael Brice King, Ciara Marie King, McKenzie King, November Raine Hutcherson, Serenity Hutcherson, Justin Huntings Leyla Stone, Colton Stone, Zoey Hennis, and Spencer King; siblings, Teresa Wall-Limani, Cheryl Booth, Angela Wyatt, and Terry Hill; step-daughter, Ashley Hennis; furbaby, Lucy; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

A celebration of Mr. Gauldins life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Rev. Austin Merricks officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence.
