Mrs. Beulah Shorter Webb, age 97, of 15 Southern St, Danville, Va., passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on January 20, 1920, in Danville, VA, to the late Charlie Washington Shorter and Efie “Myrtle” Collins Shorter.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Webb worked at Dan River Mills and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Steven Webb, Alan Webb, and Linda Ellis, all of Danville, VA; sister, Frances Shorter Tolley; great-grandchildren: Antony Webb and Heather Webb Stegall; and great-great granddaughter, Aria Stegal.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Webb was predeceased by her husband, Orlan Kermit Webb; son, Junice E. Webb; five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 02, at Swicegood Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Markham officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
