Ms. Catherine (Cathy) Marie Campbell, age 58, of 1 Winstead Drive, Danville, Virginia, died on Wednesday, September 07, 2016 at Danville Regional Medical Center, Danville, Virginia.

Ms. Campbell was born on July 24, 1958, in Texas, to Thomas Jackson Campbell, Sr. and the late Lenora Cochrane Fuller.

She worked as a nurse at the Brian Center, Yanceyville, North Carolina and was of the Christian faith. She was a compassionate and caring person caring for her patients. She was known for putting others before herself. She loved her grandchildren. Also, she was an organ donor and will continue helping others.

Ms. Campbell is survived by her father Thomas Jackson Campbell, Sr. (Carolyn); son, Jason Campbell of Maryland; and daughter, Candice Campbell of Danville, Virginia; brother, Tommy Campbell (Tonya); grandchildren, Jacob Campbell, Ashlynne Campbell, Camryn Doebert, Chaynce Campbell; one nephew, T.J. Campbell (Kahley and kids); one niece, Cassidy Campbell; and Partner, Cheryl Hudgins.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Pastors Billy and Patricia Cook officiating.
