Dennis “Denny” Jerome  Hendley, Jr., age 64, of Blairs, died on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Virginia Baptist Hospital in Lynchburg.  Born in Danville on July 23, 1951, he was the son of the late Dennis J. Hendley, Sr., and Nancy Moore Hendley.  He had worked as a pipe fitter for EAS in Greensboro.  He was of the Holiness faith.  In addition to his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Hendley, he is survived by two daughters, Tina Graham (Chris) of Danville, and Melanie Livengood (D.J.) of Blairs.  Also surviving is grandchildren, Jacob Graham, Cheyenne Graham, Elijah Livengood and Evan Livengood;  two brothers, Barry Hendley (Judy) and Randy Hendley;  sisters, Pam Hendley, Vickie Adkins, and Tammy Coleman;  Several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Kelly Hendley, and a sister, Donna Hendley.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Barker Funeral Home Chapel.  Intement will follow in Highland Burial Park.  The family will receive friends at Barker Chapel on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 6 – 8:00 P.M.  At other times they will be at the residence at 533 Dodson Road in Blairs.  Sign the guest book at www.swicegood-barker.com, or www.facebook.com/swicegoodbarker, or www.godanriver.com
