Derek Brandon Goodman, age 36, of 349 Sweetgum Lane, Danville, VA, passed away on February 19, 2017 at Danville Regional Medical Center.
He was born on November 25, 1980, in Danville, VA, to the late Marty Dean Goodman and was later adopted by Audrey Townsend Goodman and the late L. Herman Goodman.
Derek worked at Connor Group, as a Maintenance Tech and was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his mother/grandmother, Audrey Goodman, of the residence; and brothers, Christopher Aaron Goodman and Marty Dean Goodman Jr. , both of Danville.
A celebration of Derek's life will be held at a later date.
