Florence Hutson Holley, 93, of Dry Fork, VA, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Riverside Health Care Center.

She was born on April 24, 1923, in Pittsylvania County, VA, to the late Otha W. Hutson and Maggie L. Payne.

Mrs. Holley worked as a tax preparer before her retirement and was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her children, Margie H. Bartee and husband Danny and William Wade Holley; grandchildren, Robert D. Bartee and wife Elaine and Katherine F. Bartee; great-grandchildren, Markus H. Bartee and Chance D. Bartee; great-great-granddaughter, Victoria Renee.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Holley was predeceased by her husband, Elmore L. Holley.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Rev. Timothy Barth and Clay Knick officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the residence, 7292 Dry Fork Rd., Dry Fork, VA. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Dry Fork Vol. Fire Department, 4860 Dry Fork Rd., Dry Fork, VA 24549 or Mt. Hermon Vol. Fire Department 4268 Franklin Tpk., Danville, VA 24540.
