Mrs. Frances Keatts Hyler, age 91, of 1565 Gravel Hill Rd., Ruffin, N C passed away on May 4, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Hyler was born on March 30, 1926, in Pittsylvannia County VA to the late Horace Keatts and Pearl Barber Keatts.

Mrs. Hyler worked with her husband at their grocery store and was of the Methodist faith.

Mrs. Hyler is survived by Two daughters, Margaret Hyler Eanes of Ruffin, Verona Hyler Eanes of Cascade; One son, Hassell Wayne Hyler of Eden; sister, Iris Jones of Ringgold; two brothers, Noble Keatts of Cascade, Marvin Keatts of Martinsville VA; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Hyler was predeceased by husband  William Henry Hyler; brothers, Elvin Keatts of Axton VA., Burton Keatts of Brosville, Willis Keatts of Brosville VA; sisters, Jereline Hyler of Cascade, Edna Davis of Danville.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Darryl Joyce officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church, 9983 NC Hwy 700, Pelham, NC 27311.
