Gary Eugene Jones, age 67, of Birmingham, AL, died on January 31, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on September 01, 1948, in Danville, VA, to Mildred Jones Stokes Jeffries and the late Wallace A. Jones.
Mr. Jones worked as a manager of an apartment complex in AL. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his mother; brothers, Johnnie Jones of McKinney, TX and Ricky Jones of Dry Fork, VA; and sister, Sandra Taylor of Dry Fork, VA.
In addition to his father Mr. Jones was predeceased by his brother, Joe Jones.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 05, 2016 at Swicegood Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
