Hazel “Janie” Holder of Fuquay-Varina, NC, died on March 20, 2015 at Sherrills Ford Hospice House in Sherrills Ford, NC. She was born to the late C.O. and Lillie (Edwards) Hosley Sr. in Sontag, VA in 1928.

Janie graduated from Schoolfield High School and Averett College in Danville, VA. She retired as an Administrative Assistant from Burroughs Wellcome in RTP, NC.

She is survived by two daughters, Pamela H. Farmer (Fred) and Rachel “Toni” Holder; two grandsons, Matthew and Joshua Farmer.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, David H. Holder; three sisters and a brother.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Swicegood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Highland Burial Park.
