Mr. Landon Reynolds, age 79, of 340 Hickory Forest Road, Danville, VA, died on June 29, 2016 at his home.

He was born on August 16, 1936, in Meadows of Dan, VA, to the late Henry Rufus Reynolds and Lydia Hylton Reynolds.

Mr. Reynolds worked at Dan River Mills in maintenance and was a member of the Longview Community Church. He was an avid gardener and loved his home-place in the mountains.

He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Robertson Reynolds of the home; son, Michael Landon Reynolds and his wife Donna of Danville; daughters, Debra Susan Swinney and her husband Timothy of Danville, Judy Ann Austin and her husband Steve of Dry Fork; and two grandchildren, Christopher Devone Rigney and Alexandra Nicole Rigney.

In addition to his parents Mr. Reynolds was predeceased by his three sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Longview Community Church at 2 pm with Rev. Michael Blythe and Rev. Seth Lackey officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, VA.
