Millard C. “Pete” Fulton, age 73, of 4352 Spring Garden Rd., Chatham, VA, passed on December 01, 2016 at Danville Regional Medical Center.

He was born on July 27, 1943, in Abingdon, VA, to the late Barney Fulton and Gladys McGuire Bailey.

Mr. Fulton worked at Quality Construction before his retirement, and he was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Lynch Fulton of the residence; daughter, Norma Rowland (Donald); son, Timothy Phelps all of Chatham, VA; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Cosby Fulton of Gaffeney, SC; and sisters, Mary Hardy of Pelham, NC; Helen Pokrzywa of Stokesdale, NC; Fran Murphy of Pelham, NC; and his beloved canine, Max.

A celebration of Pete’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the residence, 4352 Spring Garden Rd., Chatham, VA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Blairs Volunteer Fire Department, 7100 US HWY 29; Blairs, Virginia 24527.
