Ocie Marie Wadford, age 77, of 135 Wildwood Terrace, Danville, died at her residence on Tuesday, April 18, 2016.  Born in  Burlington, NC on October 15, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Coe and Mattie Reagan Wilson.  She had worked as a waitress.  And was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church.  She is survived by her long time companion, Raymond Johnson, Jr. and her son Michael Pritchett (Lisa) of Danville.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Michael Ray Pritchett, Holden Wayne Pritchett and Journey Snead:  her great grandchildren, Journey Lynn Snead and Gavin Snead;  her brother, Randolph Thomas, and her special friends, Betty De Barre and Sherry Goodman.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three daughters, Sherrie, Vickie and Donna Pritchett, and a son, Jeffrey Pritchett, a sister, Judith Beck.  A memorial service will be held at Barker Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 noon on Thurday, April 20, 2016 with the Rev. Charles Wickham officiating.  The family will receive friends on hour before the service at Barker Chapel.  At other times, the family will be at the residence, 135 Wildwood Terrace, Danville. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to  135 Wildwood Terrace, Danville, VA, 24540, to help with Mrs. Wadford’s  funeral expenses.
