On Thursday November 05, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. @ the Carillon Memorial Hospital in Roanoke Virginia. Our beloved Octrival Latisha Townes gained her heavenly wings and took flight to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Octrival was born on November 4, 1997 in Danville, Virginia to Delois Hood Coles (Frank) and the late Sylvester Edward Townes, Sr. Octrival was a loving mother, daughter, sister granddaughter, aunt, cousin, and a friend to many. She was known by her family and friends as Tre or Tretre. Octrival had an outgoing personality who loved life and her life was lived to the fullest. Octrival loved her family, loved to dance, and you could always see that big smile on her face.

Octrival attended the Danville Public Schools she was attending the Teen GED program obtaining her GED at an earlier time in her life Octrival professed her faith in Christ, under the leadership of Rev Jermaine Parker.

To cherish her memory she leaves behind a beautiful daughter (Cormella Terry). Her mother Delois Coles; her maternal grandmother Lissie Hood; a finance (Lamont Terry); Ten sisters: Carnetha Coles (Travis), Latasha Coles(Allen), Sharea Coles ,Kiera Coles(Gore), Dominique Coles (Idall), Latrival Townes, Jackie Townes and Frances Townes all of Danville Virginia, Keimarsha Fitzgerald of Raliegh NC, and Lawanda Townes of Tampa Florida; four brothers: Keon Coles, Anthony Townes, Lamontae Townes, all of Danville, Virginia, and Edward Fitzgerald of Greensboro N.C; special nephews: Dauyion Ferrell, O’Bryan King, and Anthony Slade; 2 great-nephews, D’Vonte Walters and Da’juon King; and 2 great-nieces, Azbrionna Womack and Shyuanna King; 2 Step-sisters, Lisa Coles Bowser of Danville, Virginia, and Ronesha Coles of Martinsville, Virginia; three step-brothers, Ronald Coles and Brian Coles of Danville, Virginia and Ray Coles of Greensboro NC; one God sister, Michelle Davis and; two specially close nieces Myneathia Bennett and Minyuan King a special nephew Malquan King, to special close cousins Justice Wiles and Nathaniel Wilson three aunts Lottie Terry, Frances Williams, and Alice Williams, two uncles, Marvin Hood and James Hood. Two brother-n-laws Henry Keates, and Tyrell Grasty a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Proceeding her in Death was her step father Ronnie Lee Coles, her sister Jessica Coles, three aunts Minnie Pritchett, Lena Goods, Ann Clark,  one uncle Robert Townes her maternal grandfather George Hood and her paternal grandparents James and Mildred Jones.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Swicegood Funeral Home and other times at 130 Campbell Street, Apt. A, Danville, VA. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Greater United Apostolic Church in Danville, Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Swicegood Funeral Home to help with Octival's final expenses.
