Otis Odell Hayes, age 56, of 110 Mountain Hill Road, Danville, VA, died on Monday, December 18, 2017 at SOVAH-Danville.

Mr. Hayes was born on November 6, 1961, in Danville, VA, a son of the late William Odell Hayes and Edna Mae Lowe Hayes. He lived all of his life in Danville where he was employed as a shop foreman with P&D Automotive. He was married to Melody Taylor Hayes who preceded him in death.

Mr. Hayes is survived by his son, Randall Otis Hayes (Alston Pritchett) of Danville, VA; his sister, Patsy Broughman (Thomas) of Danville, VA; and by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by a granddaughter, Lilly Grace.

A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, December 21, 2017at 2:00 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Scearce officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and at other times at the residence.
