Phillip Thomas Lakey, Jr., age 53, of 105 Longview Ave., Lot#10, Danville, VA, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Lakey was born on May 14, 1963, in Danville, VA, to Phillip Thomas Lakey Sr. and Lily Meeks Lakey.

He is survived by his parents; wife, Angela Lakey of the residence; daughters, Natalie Dianne Lakey of Danville and Brittany Fuqua Vernon of NC; granddaughter, Cadence Marie Fuqua of Danville; sister, Angela Denise Lakey Rust of Danville; brother, John Walter Lakey of Dry Fork; niece, Ashley Nichole Rust Puyallup, WA; and nephews, Andrew Thomas Rust of Danville and Trey Walter Lakey of Dry Fork.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Hopkins officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. At other times, the family will be at his parents residence, 723 Kemper Rd., Danville, VA.
