Mr. Ricky Dale Lewis, age 61, of 431 Mabe Drive, Ringgold, VA, passed away on November 15, 2016 at his home.

He was born on June 13, 1955, in Danville, VA, to Esta “Corky” Linwood Lewis and the late Ruby Lee Barber.

Mr. Lewis worked at Strutmaster in Sales and was of the Christian faith. He also served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his father, Esta “Corky” Linwood Lewis; son, Scotty Wells; sister, Lawana Lewis (Roger) of Ringgold, VA; brothers, Ronnie Lewis (Sylvia) and Terry Lewis (Sadie), both of Danville, VA; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 2865 Sandy Creek Church Rd, Ringgold VA 24586, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jim Bibee officiating. At other times, the family will be at the residence, 431 Mabe Dr., Ringgold, VA 24586.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 2865 Sandy Creek Church Rd., Ringgold, VA 24586 or God's Pit Crew,  2499 North Main Street Danville, VA. 24540 .
