Mrs. Rita “Flossi” Martin Bullins, 49, of 2284 Old Highway 29, Pelham, North Carolina, went to be with her Lord on May 8, 2015, surrounded by her friends and family at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She had been in declining health for four years.  

Mrs. Bullins was born on April 8, 1966, in Danville, VA, to Joyce Layne Hancock and the late Paul Wesley Martin. She spent her entire life in Pelham, NC.; she was of the Baptist faith. She was predeceased by her husband, Bradley Bullins.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Bullins is survived by her sister, Kimberly Carswell; two special nieces, Adrianna and Carolyn Carswell; a very special friend, Robin McGregor; her former brother-in-law and best friend, Thomas “T-Tom” Carswell and her fiancé, Barry Hamlett.

In addition to her father Mrs. Bullins was predeceased by two brothers, Paul Martin Jr. and Michael Martin.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Swicegood Funeral Home at 2 PM with Reverend Michael Kent officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

The family requests that memorials be sent to Pelham Volunteer Fire Department, 4895 Old US Highway 29, Pelham, NC 27311.
