Tony Lynn Martin age 53, of Danville, VA departed from this life on Thursday February 11, 2016 at the Memorial Hospital of Martinsville VA after months of declining health. Tony passed from this life into the arms of our heavenly Father with and awesome smile on his face.

Tony worked as a carpenter his whole life. He enjoyed gardening and cherished his time spent with his grandchildren. He was born on November 06, 1962 the son of Edna Creasy Martin and the late Earl Junius Martin Sr. He was predeceased by his oldest brother Earl J. Martin Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Edna Creasy Martin; daughter, Stephanie Thaxton (Curtis); grandchildren, Victoria, Alexandra, Kimball, and Stormie, brothers, Dennis Martin, Bobby Martin, and Curtis Martin; many nephews and nieces; and special close friends Randy and Vicky Inman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Swicegood Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
