Wendy Dalton Ball, age 58, of 9668 Martinsville Highway, Danville, VA, 24541, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016, after a period of declining health

Mrs. Ball was born on September 9, 1958, in Danville, VA, a daughter of the late Daniel Tracy Dalton and Peggy Mangrum Dalton. She worked in daycare at Abundant Life Church and was of the Christian faith. She loved her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren very much and you could never mistake her smile or laugh.

Mrs. Ball is survived by her husband, David Ball, of the residence; her son, Jonathan Ball (April); three grandchildren, Mallory, Evan and Nolan of Charlotte, NC; mother-in-law, Barbara Ball and sister-in-law, Susan Thim of Germany.

Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Swicegood Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Swicegood Funeral Home, 564 West Main Street, Danville, VA, 24541, to help with Mrs. Ball’s funeral arrangements.
