Many years ago, Carol and I met while we both worked at Piedmont Airlines. She and I became best friends. That friendship included the whole family.... Big Phil, little Phil and Jennifer. We were all very young then and really in the beginning of our careers and learning lifes' lessons.
Carol was honest, hardworking, loyal and loved her family. She was the best friend a person could ever have. Eventually Carol, Phil and family moved to Florida and I moved on also. But we did make an effort to stay in touch.
Though many years have passed, I will always cherish the time that we had together and feel blessed to have had such a good friend.
All my love and prayers to Big Phil and family.

Carol, a few things I would say if I were able to be there. It may sound funny to some but to me it was a big deal: I remember when you taught me how to fold a "fitted sheet" the correct way, lol... we had so much fun in my learning. You helped me keep laughter in my life, showed me family sticks together " no matter what", how to buy in "bulk" lol... The love for family, friends and pets. You and I shared some good and bad times, up and down times, I remember most, 1 of the toughest times we had together-no apologies were spoken, but if it weren't for you having unconditional love for your grandson, we may have went separate ways and not had the "memories" I now have to hold of you in my Heart. better or worse, richer or poorer, sickness and in health they're not just for marriages, it's for family and friends too. Being a part of your Family helped me see that. Thank you for the memories- fly with the Angels, sing and dance with family and friends you have been joined with once again. I LOVE YOU.......~Wendy~

Missing a special lady, we met so many years ago. I remember the day she first came to work at social services in Alexandria. We took to each other right away. She had a wonderful laugh and way of making one feel comfortable. She introduced us to some forever friends in our lives. It could not have happened without her.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Carol on Facebook playing farmville. Carol and Phillip were always encouraging me, praying for me and even sending e-cards. All through the difficult times in the last three years and even before then. I knew I had a sister and brother in Christ. I've prayed for them and the family through the years, as well.
One day in Heaven we shall all get to meet.
I'm sorry we have never met in person. However, I felt a connection and now a profound sadness for Carol passing from thus life, as I know she will leave a void that will be difficult for all. Please remember God's promises and how she is no linger suffering and one day you will be reunited. What a glorious day that will be! After losing my mother and other close family members over the year I've found talking about my loved one with others and sharing fond memories, I felt part if that void disappear. It seemed to keep them close to me.
She was a beautiful lady, inside and out. I'm certain she heard, " well done good and faithful servant " . My deepest sympathies to you, and prayers will continue, as well. Gid Bless and God's grace and love to each of you!
