David Garland Farmer Jr., age 43, of 125 Arnett Blvd, Apt. B2, Danville, VA, died on Monday October 05, 2015 at Danville Regional Medical Center.

He was born on June 10, 1972, in Danville, VA, to the late David Garland Farmer Sr. and Peggy Dix Farmer.

Mr. Farmer worked as a salvage mechanic and was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Wright Farmer; son, Joseph Farmer; daughter, Gracelyn Farmer both of Axton, VA; brothers, Timothy Dale Farmer and Brian Keith Farmer both of Danville, VA; sister, Tammy Jo Farmer Taylor and husband Edward of Chatham, VA; uncle, Walter Lee Farmer and wife Kathy of Lynchburg, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 08, 2015 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Preskitt officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p .m. on Wednesday, October 07, 2015 at Swicegood Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at, 3540 Whispering Pines Rd., Danville, VA. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park.
