Elaine Richardson Neal, age 64, of 350 Gilford Street, Danville, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 22, 2015 at her residence.  Born in Callands on September 18, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Oakley Richardson and Virginia Rigney Richardson.  She was married to Tony Edward Near, Sr. who predeceased her on May 4, 2015.  She was a homemaker.  She is survived by her children, Tony Neal, Jr. (Beth) of Danville,  Tracey Neal of Ringgold, and Christina Neal  of Danville;  her grandchildren, William Jay Runyon, Zachary Runyon, Tony E. Neal, II, Virginia Neal, Cameron Fain, Emily Neal, Caroline Neal,  and Joshua Neal;  her great-grandchildren Will Runyon and Madison Runyon.  Also surviving is her sisters, Brenda Hammock and Patty Brumfield , and her brothers, Richard Richardson (Brenda), Danny Richardson, and Ronald Richardson.  The family will received friends at Barker Funeral Home Chapel  on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 6 – 8:00 P.M.  Barker Funeral Home is respectfully serving the Neal family.  Sign the guest book at www.swicegood-barker.com, or www.facebook.com/swicegoodbarker, or www.godanriver.com.
