Mrs. Kathy Boisseau Mitchell Jefferson, LPN,  age 64, of 2174 Red Marshall Road, Pelham, NC, went to be with her Father God on Sunday, August 07, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Jefferson was born on November 24, 1951, in Baltimore, MD, to the late James Boisseau and Charlotte Henry Boisseau.

She worked as an LPN at Brian Center in Yanceyville on the Alzheimer’s unit.

Mrs. Jefferson is survived by her loving husband Ronnie R. Jefferson, of the home; two daughters, Theresa Hayes of Danville, VA and Joann Grubbs of Danville, VA; one son, Henry Barnette III of Danville, VA; step-daughter, Melissa Anderson of Danville; step-son, Ronnie W. Jefferson of Danville, VA; best friend, Joann Oxendine of Pelham, NC; two sisters, Mary E. Smith of Baltimore, MD and Robin Boisseau of California; three brothers, James Boisseau of Baltimore, MD, Frederick B. Henry of VA, and Eric Henry of VA; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 from 6pm until 7:30pm at Barker Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 2pm at Barker Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Eddie Self officiating. Interment will follow at Schoolfield Cemetery, Danville, VA.
