Our beloved mother, Martha Maxie Reynolds, age 75, went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2017, at Danville Regional Medical Center after losing her battle with COPD. She will be greatly missed.

She was born on November 1, 1941, in Danville VA. Her mother was the late Dora Duncan Maxie; her father was the late Jesse Daniel Maxie Sr. She had two brothers who predeceased her. Jesse D. “Buddy” Maxie, Jr. and Frankie N. “Slick” Maxie. She was the last member of her family.

She is survived by her husband, Raleigh L. Reynolds, Jr.; daughter, Denise Lynskey; son, Tommy Lynskey and his wife, Dee. She had two grandchildren, Matt Lynskey and Farrah Lynskey; and three great grandchildren.

We request a private service at this time for immediate family only and at a later date will have a celebration of life for mother.
