Mary Virginia (Oliver) Anderson passed away peacefully on May 26, 2016 in Silver Springs, MD.

Mrs. Anderson was born June 03, 1939 in Danville, VA to the late Perry Oliver and Mary Alice Vaughn Oliver.

She is survived by her husband, August (Gus) Anderson, her daughter Brenda (Atkins) Hunt, grandchildren Travis Allen and Rachel Danielle all of Maryland, her sisters Louise White, Carol Webb, Linda Waller, Joyce Adkins and brother Noah (Skeeter) Oliver here in Danville. 

In addition, to her parents Mrs. Anderson was predeceased by brothers, Robert Oliver and Larry Oliver.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday June 1st at 11am at Highland Burial Park officiated by Dr. Charles Scearce.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Hospital in her name.
