This woman was such a big part of my life growing up. Peggy and husband Bobby!. Grew up next door to her mother and father. Della and Luther. 21 Doolittle Street. Spent many days with all of them, and think I may have got on their nerves at times. They called me Peanut as a nickname. They were always glad to see me, especially every Sunday morning after Della prepared a meal. Then a sat on the front porch and talking about Dan River mills. Enjoyed those conversations as I rode my bike along side the porch and listened. Also watched them play cards and have a great time. I was part of the family, and I can say she always had my back and cared for me. Went to see her and Bobby several years ago. DID NOT KNOW SHE HAD PASSED. BEST REGARDS TO THE FAMILY AND, (I LOVE YOU PEGGY). Your friend and past neighbor, Peanut!

Peggy is my first cousin. Her mother Della and my dad Pete were brother and sister.

Peggy is/was one of the sweetest people in this world. She stood by her mother through thick and thin. And I know for a fact that she loved her three sons and her husband Bobby to pieces. Her sons stood by her til the end.

My condolences and prayers are with her sons and grandchildren.

We were so sorry to hear of Peggy's passing. We know that she is God's care. We are sorry that we couldn't make it to the funeral because of a prior engagement. Our prayers are with each and every one of you.
