Mr. Marshall was a one of a kind! He had a lot of money but that did not show one bit. He was as down to earth as you could get! We are still looking for him to come through the doors at the Comfort Inn with little Max to check on things and crack a few jokes! We miss him so much here! Prayers for the family!

You were a wonderful man, great to work with and made life so much brighter. Thank you for your guidance and advise that you gave everyday. I still look out of the office window thinking I will see you pull up in that red truck to check on things. We miss you very much but know you are in a better place. Margaret, Bob, Phyllis, Casey, Pat, Finn, Max and Employees: Sorry I could not be there due to illness please know that I was there in heart. Bobby and Margaret were like second parents to me, we shared a lot over the years. I was very young when I went to work for Bobby and Margaret and they both taught me so much. Precious memories. Margaret, & Family, My Father,(Ralph L. Thomasson,Sr.) son of Nannie Hamlett,& John J. Thomasson, thought very highly of "Bobby",& had great respect for him. Dad always said Bobby was a leader, & a doer. I can remember Aunt Cora, as she would visit when I was young. I remember ''Bobby", as smiling, happy, & always glad to see you. "Bobby" raised me from when I was 18 years old,now 40.He helped me so much.I would not be or know what I have if it wasnt for "Bobby".He worried me to get married,which I did finally.He gave my wife Barbie away at the ceremony in 2013.Iam proud.We will miss him greatly.

Mr Marshall was a real great man who did a great deal for the city of Danville. I would sit and talk with him and max at ballou park on his evening walks. A true geniune individual. He will be missed.

Bobby was a great boss , leader and father figure to all who knew him. Always joked around when the time was right. He will b greatly missed but never forgotten. He dont have to suffer any longer.
