Welcome to the memorial page for

Robin Gale Crider

November 3, 1958 ~ February 5, 2017 (age 58) 58 Years Old

Mrs. Robin Gale Crider, age 58, of 636-B Cabell Street, Danville, VA, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at her residence.

She was predeceased by her parents: Ora Dolen Crider and Pearl Folden Crider, her son, Jason Keith Taylor; two brothers, Robert Crider and Douglas Crider.

She is survived by: Daughter, Jennifer Taylor Morton; granddaughters, Melanie Betterton Womack and Mallory Gale Betterton; great-grandson, Bentley Malcolm Womack and expected great-granddaughter, Jayde; brothers, Floyd “Les” Crider and Joseph Crider; sisters, Janet Schultz, Tina Patterson and Candice Sease.

She was a breast cancer survivor and was in remission for several years. She lived most of her life in Danville, VA. She attended school in Fairfax, VA, but did not complete her education at that time. We are proud to say she worked hard to get her GED later in life.

She found the Lord last year and with his help she overcame many difficulties in her life. She was baptized at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church by Pastor Pearson.

We know she is now together again with her beloved son, Jason, and both are safe with God.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Danville Cancer Society.

Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at 7pm at Swicegood Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Pearson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service Tuesday, February 7, 2017. Interment will follow at a later date in Highland Burial Park.
