Spent many of my teenage and early adult years with Willie and family.
He will be greatly missed have very many memories of him. They will sty bright. My condolences to his wife and friends. Willie was one in a million.

I am stunned and so very sad to hear the news of my cousin's passing. I have a lot of great memories growing up in Raleigh and Durham and visiting my cousins from Uncle Roy and Aunt Patty. Willie and I were the closest because we were only a few months apart in age.
Over the years time and distance has played a role in losing touch, but the memories are always bright.
While I am sad for everyone, I also rejoice in the knowledge and faith that he is now rejoicing in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, plus Willie's father Roy and all the family members who proceeded him.
'When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be ...'

What a fascinating man Willie was. I remember him singing with all the other guys at parties, he always was so full of life and what a great laugh! I had married his brother Robert Grimes. Willie will be missed.
