Our thoughts and prayers are with Wyona and her family. The many fond memories we have of growing up with Patti and her girls. Youth group, the moving company and evenings in each other's homes. We know this is a great loss for you.

I just saw a few minutes ago that Patti had passed away. I spoke with Elaine regarding Carolyn's death and she told me Patti was not doing good. My Aunt Ruby Kendrick also resided at Heritage Towers on the 2nd floor. She and Patti were very good friends. I know Ruby greeted both Patti and Carolyn when they entered those golden gates. Patti was very special to me also and I always looked forward to seeing her when I would visit from the Outer Banks. She loved the "treats" I would bring when I came and we broke bread together many times. She and Carolyn ate Christmas Dinner with us one year and it was very special. I enjoyed visiting the GANG when we all would sit in the lobby of the 2nd floor and talk about the past. They are memories I will treasure as long as I have breath. All of the 2nd floor ladies I loved like an Aunt and know WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE WHEN MY JESUS I WILL SEE ALONG WITH MY AUNT RUBY AND "THE GANG"! May GOD give each of her family the strength to get through the coming days.

Wyona all the cousins loved Aunt Patti. We will miss the way your Mother made us all feel special as we lost our parents one by one. She was the last of that generation, but we will carry to our children the stories of life on the farm in Dry Fork. She was always fun when hiding Easter eggs for us and making "drawing names" fun in such a large family at Christmas. She was a smart business woman, always sharing her success with our family.I am sure they are having a big Dodd reunion in heaven right now.

Love,
Cousin Janet (Bennett)
