Jeanette Loftis Stowe, age 73, of 1068 Twin Arch Dr. Danville, VA, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Riverside Health Care Center.

She was born on September 20, 1942, in Caswell County, NC, to Frances Pyrant Loftis Lewis and the late Page Aaron Loftis.

Mrs. Stowe worked at Dan River Mills as an inspector before her retirement and attended Central Boulevard Church of God.

She is survived by her mother of Providence, NC; daughters, Belinda Grady (James) and Jill McBride (Steve) of Danville, VA; sisters, Kaye Perkins of Martinsville, VA and Diane Welch of Danville, VA; brother, Gene Loftis of Leasburg, NC; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her father Mrs. Stowe was predeceased by her husband, Clarence “Jim” Stowe and sons, Bryan Todd Voncannon and Douglas Leo Voncannon.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Central Boulevard Church of God with Rev. Timothy McBride and Rev. John Meadows officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. At other times, the family will be at 1068 Twin Arch Dr., Danville, VA. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park.
