Michael Paulokovich, Sr. age 91, of Danville, VA, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Stratford Rehab Center.

He was born on December 26, 1925, in Nesquehoning, PA, a son of the late Stanley Paulokovich and Anna Stehnicki Paulokovich.

Mr. Paulokovich worked as a home builder and was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the 82nd Airborne.

He is survived by a daughter, Michelle P. Bridges and husband, Allan; grandsons, Paul Bridges and Ray Scearce; granddaughter, Robin Saunders; and great-grandchildren, Daniel Scearce and Dawn Scearce.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Paulokovich was predeceased by his wife, Alease Paulokovich; son, Michael Paulokovich, Jr.; brother, Stanley Paulokovich; and step-sons, Ralph Scearce and Robert Jerry Bray.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p .m. on Tuesday, November 07, 2017 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church with Rev. Susan Hannah officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, November 06, 2017at Swicegood Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 1097 and the United States Army Honor Guard.
