Mrs. Mason was born on March 23, 1944, in Danville, VA, the daughter of the late Raymond and Edna Pierce Mason. She worked as an accountant at Goodwill Industries. She was a very special lady who was always there to help others in their time of need.

Mrs. Mason is survived by a daughter, Wendy Jackson; grandchildren, Eric Williams (Jessie Gambrell) and Shane Jackson, Jr. (Amber Tate) all of Pelham, NC; a great-grandchild, Allie Tate; a daughter-in-law, Pamela Williams; a special friend, Teresa Roberts  and extended family Barbara Barlow and Diann Carter.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a son Freddy Williams, a grandson, Christopher Williams, and a son-in-law Shane Jackson, Sr.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Swicegood Funeral Home at 3:00pm, with the Reverend Wayne Aaron officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Danville Cancer Association, 223 Riverview Dr. Suite J, Danville, VA 24541.
