Troy Lee Collins, age 61, of 154 Sellers Rd., Danville, VA, passed on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on September 09, 1955, in Danville, VA, to the late Gardner Collins and Zula Wilson Collins.

Mr. Collins was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Collins; companion, Christine Collins; children: Heather Odell, Amanda Pruitt (John), and Jessica Collins (Kyle Lewis), all of Danville, VA; grandchildren, Taylor Merchant, Christopher Odell, Isaac Pruitt, Colin Lewis; and Nathan Lewis, all of Danville, VA; brothers, Johnny Collins, of Pelham, NC and Anthony Collins (Teresa), of Danville, VA; and sister, Delores Collins, of Greensboro, NC.

In addition to his parents Mr. Collins was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Bailey.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Pruitt officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of Donna Collins, 205 Swain Dr., Danville, VA. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park.
